Clare Russo is one of Australia's newest and creatively passionate artist's in the photographic realm.
Her training began at the University of Sydney, Sydney College of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts Degree majoring in Photomedia. Clare then went on to earn her Honours Degree in Photomedia in 2007.
Clare has exhibited in galleries in Rozelle and Balmain NSW in 2005/2006.
In 2007 she was part of the Fujifilm Site Unseen Exhibition that toured nationally. This exhibition featured at the Global Gallery in Paddington NSW. It was at this exhibition that Clare won the coveted Best Picture Award for NSW.
Clare Russo's imagery focuses on the romantic and the sensual. She takes the viewer on a journey through her lonely landscapes and sophisticated dreamscapes, sometimes of an eerie nature. They are hauntingly beautiful and passionately creative.
